This Not A Store
For the summer of 2023 we rented a jewel box sized storefront space in Chatham NY and created an anti-pop up. Every week a single, new dress would appear. Items were placed in the space (our muslin bodies, fabric samples, a book, a poster) as clues. Lights turned on and off automatically. There was no branded signage or overt explanation except for a discreet QR code. We kept no business hours and never opened it.
